Our EUC racing event is a major highlight, featuring four different divisions: Pro, Amateur, Teens, and Groms.
The races are chip-timed by NWEF Racing. Our course offers a varied terrain of gravel, single-track dirt, bark dust, and loam. It’s primarily downhill with some uphill sections, designed to be flowy and fun with exciting downhill single track, interspersed with wide-open sprint sections and technical turns. You’ll find plenty of small challenges throughout the course.
Here’s how the racing will work:
Electric Unicycles – Competition Format
Racers will line up single-file at the start. Riders will be staggered by 45 to 60 seconds to minimize bottlenecks.
We will hold four chip-timed heats over two days — two on Friday and two on Saturday.
Your final result will be the average of your times across all four heats, so consistency is key.
After all four heats are complete:
- The top 50% of riders in each division will be classified as Pro
- The bottom 50% will be classified as Amateur
Example:
If there are 26 male riders in qualifying:
- The top 13 fastest riders will make up the Pro division
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall will podium as Pro
- Riders placing 14th–26th overall will make up the Amateur division
- Within that group, the top three (14th, 15th, and 16th overall) will podium as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Amateur
The Teens and Kids divisions will have their top three overall finishers recognized after the four heats.
